Easter Devotional Resource for the Home

Would you like to help your children prepare to celebrate the true meaning of Easter? A book titled, Why Easter? by Barbara Reaoch, is a wonderful, easy-to-use, resource. It contains 28 lessons (ideally to be done in the four weeks leading up to Easter). Each two-page lesson has the following:

  • Scripture passage to read
  • Explanation of the passage
  • Main truth
  • Discussion questions
  • Bible memory
  • A hymn to sing together (one hymn for every week)
  • A full-color picture

Here are some endorsements for the book:

The lessons are deep, true, fascinating, and insightful—I heartily recommend this remarkable book to childrens’ leaders, parents, and teachers; most of all, I recommend Why Easter? to every child!
— Joni Eareckson Tada

This book is clear and understandable, theologically rich and Scripturally faithful. Any child who studies or is guided through this book will be greatly blessed.
—Bruce Ware, Professor of Christian Theology, Southern Seminary

This is a great suggestion. I just received mine in the mail and can’t wait to start it with my family next weekend. We used her other book “Why Christmas?” for the first time this past year as well. It’s a great teaching tool and helped to prepare our hearts for the holiday. The kids looked forward to it each day and we all learned a lot too. I would highly recommend that one as well.
