Making Room for the Cross Between Palm Sunday and Easter

Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday. Both lend themselves to all sorts of exciting possibilities for the Sunday school classroom — special colorful crafts and activities, joyful and boisterous songs, and an enthusiastic presentation of the biblical narratives. Children love it and churches often go to great lengths to highlight these celebrations in the classroom.

Your Family’s Mobile Classroom

I learned a big chunk of life while riding along in vehicles with my parents. Our blue and brown Pinto station wagon was a mobile classroom of sorts for me and my brothers as our parents drove along the country roads surrounding our hometown in Washington, NC, including the 10 mile stretch into town and the 20 mile trek to church. Whether it was our full-spirited family conversations or the many times that my brothers and I would just listen in on our parents talking, we were a captive audience to observations about life, work, challenges, relationships, and faith. “He Established a Testimony” Becomes First Printed Curriculum in Manipuri Language

Although the Gospel reached the Manipuri people in northeastern India in 1894, they didn’t have any Sunday School material until this year. This fall, Suresh Singh of Partners in Discipleship International (PDI) visited the Truth78 team and presented the first printed copy of any curriculum in the Manipuri language, He Established a Testimony, Truth78’s Old Testament stories for young children.
